First vaccination with LVT-001 at Tours University Hospital
The first vaccine from the LVT-Nexus platform is administered to humans
The first volunteers in the MUCOBOOST trial received LVT-001, our intranasal COVD-19 vaccine, at the Clinical Research Center of the Tours University Hospital (CHRU). This marks the first time that a product from the LVT-NEXUS mucosal delivery platform has been administered to humans.
Phase 1 is a dose escalation study in which three dose levels are being evaluated in healthy volunteers to assess tolerability and the immune response. The vaccine is administered via a needle-free nasal spray.
