LOVALTECH WELCOMES A NEW MEMBER TO ITS STRATEGIC BOARD
Renowned for his work in the life sciences and deep tech sectors, Franck Grimaud is a figureboard member of these industries. He co-founded Vivalis in 1999, which later became Valneva, and served as CEO and then Deputy CEO for more than 25 years. During this time, he built an integrated vaccine company from the ground up, covering R&D, production, and commercialisation, with approximately 700 employees, operations in eight countries, and listings on Euronext and Nasdaq. He led numerous commercial and partnership agreements in Europe, Asia and Americas. He raised over €500 million in funding from seed to public listings. Having previously been Director of Development at the Grimaud Group, he helped to launch joint ventures in Asia and the veterinary vaccine subsidiary Filavie. He is currently Chairman of the Board and co-founder of Mottronix, a deep tech start-up founded in April 2026 in collaboration with CNRS researchers. The company aims to develop low-power embedded AI using quantum materials.
With Lovaltech reaching a key milestone in the progress of its clinical trials and the development of its proprietary LVT-NEXUS mucosal delivery platform, Franck’s experience in corporate governance and his in-depth knowledge of the vaccine sector will be invaluable in guiding the company’s strategic decisions.
